FHD series MTP® fiber cassette modules are pre-terminated, pre-tested, and come with 12-fiber MTP® adapters on the rear of the units routed to US Conec 3-port duplex MDC adapters on the front patch field. The US Conec 3-port adapter is designed to fit through the same cassette cutout defined for duplex LC adapters, allowing an instant 3x of the current cassette connector density.
QSFP-DD, QSFP28 or QSFP+ transceiver can be directly connected to MDC cassettes by MTP to MDC breakout cables. The cassette allows 192 fiber connections to be deployed in the FHD series rack unit (1 RU).
